To gain insight into the challenges of managing large-scale business change in today’s business landscape, we surveyed 250 large enterprises with over 500 employees.
The results showed that 80% of these businesses anticipate significant changes in the next 12 months. With the latest Employment Rights Bill and the new budget introducing even more complexity, this figure is likely to rise. But are C-suite leaders and HR teams aligned on the best approach to managing large-scale change?
Our findings highlight the need to simplify the complexities of managing business change to enhance employee experiences and drive better business outcomes. The survey uncovered:
- Processes involved in managing change are complex, but there is a difference in opinion between the C-suite and HR respondents regarding the priorities to address this complexity.
- Technology can play a vital role in simplifying processes, and the benefits are well understood by the C-suite, but better understanding is needed within the HR function.
- The C-suite and HR agree that people are the biggest priority in any period of change, but increased investment in employee support services is needed to address pain points and deliver better employee experiences.
