Introducing our leadership team
Rena Christou
Group CEO | Empowering People Group
Rena is a highly respected leader having been an integral part of the organisation for more than a decade. She has played a central role in shaping the Group’s strategy, operations and customer delivery in her previous roles as Chief Operations Officer and Managing Director of the Group’s employment law division, Halborns.
Rena’s appointment as CEO in early 2026 ensures strong continuity for the Group’s customers, partners and suppliers. Her deep sector expertise and focus on operational excellence, particularly in the changing landscape of employee relations, is central to her leadership.

Steven Hinchliff
Steve is an experienced chartered accountant with a diverse background in finance, operations, private equity and M&A across the professional services, software and media sectors.
He has a proven track record of, and strong commitment to, simplifying complex financial and operational issues in order to deliver practical solutions and support to businesses and their stakeholders.

Julian Harley
Julian is an experienced entrepreneur, CEO and PE Chairman in the areas of Business Services Education, Recruitment and Training. He is an Operating Partner with Limerston Capital. Julian is currently Chairman & NED for EPG and other businesses in the Adult Education and Skills arena.

Toby Allen
Toby is a seasoned Executive Product Leader with over 20 years of experience driving innovation within complex B2B ecosystems. He is guiding the next phase of development for the Empowering People Group. Toby is a specialist in setting the standard for intelligent, tech-enabled employee relations, ensuring EPG remains at the forefront of digital transformation.

Dave Holley
Dave Holley, previously Director of Professional Support at AdviserPlus, has taken on a new role as Chief Customer Officer for EPG. Dave will focus on group strategy to advance customer success, enhancing customer experience and service excellence throughout the customer journey.

Jim Charvill
Jim Charvill is a new appointment, joining the group as Chief Technical Officer for EPG, bringing a strong background in transformation and cutting-edge software development. In this new role, Jim will drive the next phase of innovation across our market-leading technology, including the continued development of our AI capabilities, strengthening EPG’s ability to deliver future-ready solutions for our clients.

Caroline Moore
Caroline has over 30 years of commercial and operational experience in the learning services sector, working in leadership roles. With a passion and extensive expertise in people and organisational development, Caroline is dedicated to creating career engagement for employees through practical solutions that drive success.
